Bill Gailey Appointed Vice
President of California State Bar Board of
Governors
William "Bill" Gailey was appointed to Vice
President of the California State Bar Board of Governors at the
Annual Meeting of the California State Bar this past weekend in
Monterey. Mr. Gailey is a Public Member of the Board of Governors
serving in his second term on the Board. He was appointed by
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006, was twice confirmed by the
California State Senate, and is serving his fourth year as Vice
Chair of the Regulation Admissions and Discipline committee, RAD.
Gailey currently serves as chairman of the
investigation and intelligence gathering firm; Gailey Associates and
previously served as the public safety liaison for Californians for
Schwarzenegger 2006. From 1968 to 1991, he worked as a detective for
the Los Angeles Police Department. He currently is a member of the
California Association of Licensed Investigators and the California
Homicide Investigators Association. Gailey is a Vietnam veteran of
the U.S. Army; 173rd Airborne Brigade, and the 82nd Airborne
Division, where he served as a sergeant E-5 paratrooper from 1965 to
1968.
